GGS  Its a theory. Relativity of distance(progress) and time.  I couldn’t call Tiger lazy, just because, I don’t know if he is, or isn’t.  I do know that, I never got that feeling from what I have observed of Tiger. I do agree having a good work ethics is not a bad thing.  I would submit, in my humble opinion, recent results, that Tiger’s swing, more times than not, lacks the needed consistency of timing under playing conditions.  To me, this indicates that, his current issues are play related. That is, if, Tiger is telling the truth, about his health.
I was perusing some of the comments here and I saw one that I figure deserves a comment. It related to questioning whether Rory could have tiger’s work ethic. My answer to that is that the work ethic Tiger possessed was strictly the result of his father driving him.
His father died in 2006. Tiger won 54 of his 79 tournaments between 1996 and 2006. That’s a ten year span. In the last 9 years he has won 25. I submit that there are several reasons possible that can be cited. Injury and swing changes have been mentioned but I also believe his work ethic is not nearly as sound as when his father was alive. Recent results would indicate that, since he insists he is healthy, his current issues are work ethic related.
