While this event has had many big name champions, these days it doesn’t often have a real strong field.   The roots of this event are traced back to the Hawaiian Open, the first Champion was Bill Mehlhorn in 1928.   The late Grayson Murray was champion two years ago.  Expect a mention in the TV Coverage.

FUN FACT:  A teenage Michele Wie received sponsor invites and played in this event four times . . . always missing the cut.

Four and an Alt

There is a cut this week !
